Actually on this movie for the first time because Trent [Reznor] and I had discussed it pretty extensively and he had the script and he was bored and he is industrious he would send me…I would be in a van on the way to the location and I would get these MP3s in my email and it would be 18 minutes of driving up to the manors and we would be driving up to the driveway and we would go, “Wow. If it was snowing this would be amazing.” So I did have a lot of music that I was sort of listening to. But we didn’t shoot the scenes to that music. We put that stuff…it was added in the way you normally would, although I did have access to many minutes of music before we started scoring the film, which was different because I had never done that before. - David Fincher
The deluxe boxset for the album, designed by Rob Sheridan, has also been nominated.
The awards show will be on February 10th.

This is due to manufacturing errors, so anyone who had ordered one (or plans to, as there are a few left), should note that it will be another month before they get it.
This official award show sampler differs from the commercial version (released by Null Corporation), in that each track appears exactly as it is used in the film, and is in sequential order of appearance. For more information on the tracks, see NIN Wiki.
It’s going to be delayed until 30th March due to printing issues.
